| Overview: The Salt Lake Temple is by far the single most popular wedding location in Salt Lake City. It features gothic style architecture, and represents the most recognizable landmark in Utah. The temple grounds coupled with the Main Street Plaza provide virtually limitless photo opportunities. The Good: you'd have to be a pretty lousy photographer to get bad photos at the Salt Lake Temple. There are just so stinking many places for great pictures. The perfectly maintained gardens, reflecting ponds, and amazing architecture. The Bad: Closed to the general public. You can only take pictures here if your wedding is being held here. Its also one of the most popular temples, so though your pictures will be gorgeous, they might not be 100% unique. Our Opinion: Obviously we take pictures here any time a client requests it, and certainly never complain. The Salt Lake Temple is a fabulous choice for a wedding, and a fabulous choice for pictures. |
