| Overview: Millcreek canyon is just up 3800 South in Salt Lake City. A quick trip off of I-215 E and you're there. Millcreek canyon has many secluded spots for taking pictures with a great outdoors feeling. It features tree lined groves, private campsites, a boardwalk along a wide clear creek, small waterfalls and open mountain meadows with wildflowers. The Good: Beautiful location, really green in the summertime and easy to get to. The Bad: There can be wildlife to look out for in some places (Moose, ask us!). Also the locations are spread apart so taking pictures here can take extra time. Our Opinion: Always a great choice. Pretty green colors and fresh air in the summer and gorgeous fall leaves in the autumn. Millcreek Canyon remains closed throughout the winter, eliminating it from our list of options during that time. We'll take a bride up at any time of year. |
