Memory Grove

Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah
Overview:
One of the most popular spots in Downtown Salt Lake City for photography. Memory Grove features stone buildings with large columns, green grass, light posts, a creek, decorative steps and bridges, tree stumps, naturally wooded areas, winding paths, and monuments and memorials. City Creek runs right through memory grove into a small pond before going underground. This makes for excellent shots with water in the background.

The Good:
Free admission. Also, lots of great photos can be taken here and you can get a great variety of images from just one location. The park is nice year-round with mornings and evenings being the very best.

The Bad:
Very popular photography spot and public park. Often times you’ll have to wait for your spot to open up and brides that aren’t comfortable in their dresses might get gawked at a little bit.

Our Opinion:
Its an excellent spot for getting lots of pictures. Some of the locations are worth the wait, and we’re happy to take our brides to Memory Grove at any time.
