| Overview: The Joseph Smith Memorial Building is a location right on temple square. A very popular spot for Brides that are also hosting their receptions there. It features indoor spots with ornate carpeting, chandeliers, and soft window light. The Good: Its great for a rainy day, when outside pictures just arent possible. A little known spot is on the upper floors where big windows can afford unique shots of the temple with it at a downward angle. The Bad: Sometimes Brides have been hassled if they're not having their reception there - it can be hit or miss that way. In addition there are a limited number of photo opportunities where you're trying to unique backgrounds. Our Opinion: On a rainy day, this is a great way to save a shoot. We like to include the JSMB as one spot while working on Temple Square to give a great variety of shots, both indoors and out. |
