Garden Park Ward

Overview:
The LDS Garden Park Ward is a very popular spot for photos near downtown salt lake city. Nestled up in the avenues on Yale, it tall trees, a babbling brook, decoratively painted cove, a small pond and ornate bridges and columns. Winter or Summer, great photos can be taken year-round.

The Good:
Close to Salt Lake City, free admission, and decorative gardens.

The Bad:
Really popular spot. Other photographers are commonly there near sunset, which means there might be some waiting for certain spots. If the ward has an activity planned for that time, the gardens are closed to the public.

Our Opinion:
It’s a great spot to take pictures, especially considering the cost of admission—free. We recommend the garden park ward at any time.
