We’re Supposed To Buy YOU Dinner…

As many of you know, we take each of you out to dinner before your wedding. It’s our way to build a little extra rapport so that you get comfortable with us and will be candid in front of our cameras. Not only that, but we enjoy good company and conversation. It’s part of why our job is so fun! Lately, we’ve had a rash of clients buying US dinner. Don’t worry guys, it just means that you get two dinners with us, and we’re picking up the bill next time. Anyway, I just wanted to tell each of these clients Thank You.

Last weekend we shot Amanda’s wedding in Vegas. One of Amanda’s friends, Kim, is getting married next weekend and we’re shooting her wedding as well. While we were down for Amanda’s wedding, Kim & John invited us over for dinner. They knew we must’ve been a little weary from the traveling followed by a full day of shooting. They prepared a great home-cooked meal for us (we love good home cooking!). So, I just wanted to take a second to say Thank You, Kim & John. Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated, and we can’t wait to rock your wedding on Saturday!

Last night, we did some shots of Ryan & Kim’s adorable (and AMAZINGLY SMART!!!) 13 month old baby girl, Nora. After the shoot, we had dinner at the training table and they insisted on picking up the check. We had a great time chatting and getting to know all about you and your lives. We got some awesome stuff, and we can’t wait to show you!

Last but not least… This evening we shot engagements for Chelsey & Brian. We started off in Park City, it’s one of their favorite places to hang out. Then we mozied down to their favorite restaurant in Salt Lake, The Melting Pot. We got great shots of them together there. We decided to join them for dinner. What we didn’t expect, was for them to insist on picking up the bill. You two are great, we had such a wonderful time taking your pictures and getting to know you both. Thanks so much for giving us the chance to work with you, and Thank You for the wonderful dinner.

Through the course of working with all of our clients, we’re often met with great generosity and hospitality. We get gestures of all shapes and sizes, from plates of cookies to an offer for a cold bottle of water. We’re always mindful to warmly thank our clients, but I’ve been so overwhelmed with kind gestures lately that I wanted to spotlight it on the blog too.

We’ve worked very hard to make sure that our business is personal and attentive. The way our clients treat us, is a strong sign that we’re succeeding. We truly appreciate the things you all do for us. We don’t just feel like someone you’ve hired to create your memories, we feel like you’re friends that we’re cheerfully serving… We LOVE what we do, and by and large, all of you are the reason why.
