You’ll remember from a recent blog post, that I was concerned about how we might top the photos from the Bridal session–which was also shot at the Bountiful Temple. So, how did we do? Tell us what you think.

Topped it? Nahh, Jessica + Porntepp will just have even more great photos to choose from for their final album and print order. Congrats guys, you were a dream to work with!

Rainy Days & Mondays

Saturday’s wedding got rained out, just like most of the events so far this June. It’s been a particularly rainy season. Even still, we moved indoors and were able to capture a favorite shot of the season. The rain on the windows combined with the light on the scene tell the story of the day in such a bittersweet way. Loving it! Hope you do too!

PS– See the glow around her? It’s from the window light reflecting off her gown back onto the rest of the scene. Delicious!

Linnea & Jeff: Crazy Weather

Linnea & Jeff are such a fun couple! The first part of their wedding day was rainy but right as they came out the temple doors, the clouds broke and we had sunshine. There is a shot of their reflection against the red tile, it’s one of my favorites. Check these out!

Carly & Gary in Nauvoo, IL

Carly’s wedding was in Nauvoo, Illinois near the beginning of this month. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the small towns in the surrounding area were a photographers dream. I’ve got so many fun ideas for pictures out there, I can’t wait to go back!

Cynthia and Matthew: Private Wedding Part 2

So, after the ceremony we went out to the Great Salt Lake for Cynthia and Matthew’s portraits. It was so cold and I felt terrible for Cynthia in her strapless gown. She was such a trooper and we got some gorgeous shots because of it!

Cynthia and Matthew: Private Wedding Part 1

Cynthia and Matthew flew in from Las Vegas to have their wedding in a stunning new venue in Park City called the Sky Lodge.

They had a private ceremony, the two of them and the officiant! It was so beautiful. They held the ceremony on the roof overlooking Main Street in Park City, the wedding pictures are so fun! It was sprinkling snow, but they decided to keep it outside and I loved it!

You couldn’t have a more unique wedding. The Sky Lodge is such an amazing venue, very modern style. Cynthia and Matthew’s was also the very first wedding there! After the ceremony we headed out the the Great Salt Lake for their wedding portraits – Check back tomorrow for part 2, wedding photos as the Great Salt Lake!
