We got our hands on an issue of Latter Day Bride Magazine. We knew we’d be featured in the magazine, but we didn’t know that THREE of our great couples would be included!
Congratulations to Leah & Paul! The magazine loved the pictures and you’re the only bride they’ve seen with a chocolate brown dress! Plus, the fact that you were married in Hawaii might have something to do with it!
Also Jessica & Brett! They loved that you stopped off at Nielsen’s on your wedding day, it made for some really unique photos! I’m so glad that we tagged along with our cameras!
Lastly, Kayla & Cole! The image of you clearly shows how in love you two are!
Oh yeah, one other little surprise… The magazine got picked up by Borders AND Barnes & Noble. Your pictures will be seen by other brides ALL AROUND the country! Cool, huh?!
As you no doubt have noticed, we’ve been posting some random YouTube’s lately. I thought it was high-time we also got our own YouTube online! This is our demo reel showing off work mainly from 2007.
Take a peek and let us know what you think!
PS– The song, Forever, was written and performed by the ever talented (and available to play your wedding!) Saydie Hornsby. We adore her just as much as you do! Throw some comments down and profess your love of her fantastic music!
Here is the real tip. Alta Moda has a new line of gowns arriving, so they’re running a clearance on current floor displays. We were there last night, and they’ve got some beautiful gowns that could be yours at a significant savings. Some of them are marked down as much as 50% - 80%. This is only happening tomorrow, Saturday December 15th.
Call 801-531-1215 to make an appointment with their knowledgeable and friendly fashion consultants.
PS– If you can’t make it in on Saturday, schedule a visit anyway to take a peak at some “sooo next year” bridal fashions.
One of the questions we get asked most often, is how the heck do we find some of the locations we use. Well, actually, we drive around and look for them. Sounds pretty simple, right? It’s actually kinda fun.
We’ll be doing another one of these location scouting sessions in a few weeks. We’ll plan on 2-3 hours or so on an upcoming Saturday. We’ll also take plenty of hot cocoa breaks as needed.
So for those photographers out there who check in on our blog, let yourself be known in the comments and we’ll make sure you get invited.
We shot Sothea and her friends on Saturday. Sothea had has quite a year, and she wanted to thank her friends for being there for her. Sothea decided a photo shoot would be the best way to go. We had a great time all around downtown and despite the weather, the shots are fabulous!
Sothea, we had such a great time with you! We hope you love these shots as much as we do!
Some of you loyal blog readers may remember Christy & Nate’s wedding. Well, I just got word today that two of her pictures, featuring her wedding and her unique idea for a guestbook were featured on Utah Bride & Groom Magazine’s Blog.
They really liked her idea, and luckily, they liked the photos too. (Aren’t I shameless? Yes, yes I am). I heard that some of Christy and Nate’s pictures might pop up in another conspicuous place, so stay tuned for an update on that.
