Baby Nicolas’s Baptism

A little while back we had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Nicolas’ baptism at the Prophet Elias, a Greek Orthodox church. The chapel was beautiful, and rituals were warm, tender and very heartwarming. The blessings bestowed upon this little baby are truly precious, and we were lucky enough to capture it all on film. An interesting part of the baptism, is that all of the rites are performed by the godparents. So we were able to capture an intimate point of view that Nicolas’ birth parents wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Below are some of the great photos. Sorry Heidi & Tim, I think I’m skewing your stats because I check out my son about 5 times a day. And I still get teary eyed every time I look. Thank you again so much for the wonderful job you guys did. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Niki, Heidi and I are absolutely flattered that you love them so much. We were showing them to another client yesterday who started getting teary eyed looking at them, it’s very intimate and tender.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, Father Michael did made it a wonderful experience. Heidi and I feel so lucky that you included us and we were able to photograph and witness this sacred event.
