Adobe Lightroom Session

This is one for all of the professional or aspiring photographers that check our blog from time to time. You’re invited to our studio on Monday, October 29th at 6:30 PM to attend a workshop and learn all about Adobe Lightroom. This is your chance to see how some of Salt Lake’s successful photographers are using it to streamline their workflow and make editing and proofing sessions flow smoothly.

Michael Tallman, Jason McGrew, and I will be giving a demo on how to use Lightroom. In specific:

1. Michael will be giving a general overview of Lightroom. He’ll go over some basic features and benefits of the software.
2. Jason will be giving some insider tip and tricks on how to use the develop module to quickly make your pictures look amazing in both color and black and white.
3. I will help you get familiar with the power features of the library module and show you to use it to make editing and proofing sessions a snap.

Be sure to download the free demo onto your laptop so you can follow along!

Adobe Lightroom Essential Training - Lynda.com
The Lynda.com Adobe Lightroom training series is where I learned most of what I know about Lightroom. This page has some free movies that will get you acquainted with the software quickly. I highly recommend viewing these before coming to the session, you’ll be one step ahead of the game.
