Retrospect’s Blog | It’s delicious photography.

Of course, it’s nothing new for us…

Salt Lake Magazine recently named Enizio (our preferred stylists) the number 1 stylists in Utah County, and as they said–it might as well be in all of Utah. Here is some info on the article, and a delicious shot featuring their fine hair and makeup artistry.

J+P Wedding Preshoot

For Jessica and Porntepp’s bridal session, we decided to do a preshoot with David Perry so we could spend more time on the wedding day exercising a little more creativity. Now my only concern? How in the world are we going to top THIS?!

Rainy Days & Mondays

Saturday’s wedding got rained out, just like most of the events so far this June. It’s been a particularly rainy season. Even still, we moved indoors and were able to capture a favorite shot of the season. The rain on the windows combined with the light on the scene tell the story of the day in such a bittersweet way. Loving it! Hope you do too!

PS– See the glow around her? It’s from the window light reflecting off her gown back onto the rest of the scene. Delicious!

Bridal Preshoot

The Bountiful Temple has never looked so good. This is the teaser from Jessica & Porntepp’s preshoot video, by David Perry Films. We were also along shooting some stills for these two as well, and we’ll post them soon.

Awesome Wedding Video

I’m not ashamed to admit that I got a little teary eyed watching this video. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Kudos to Anton Lorimer for shooting something so killer. Another high-five to my friend Gene Higa who photographed this event.

Secret Location: Engagements

These are some fun shots we did for our fabulous clients, Jessica & Porntepp (pronounced Pontep, it’s Thai) in a fun new location we found. Check out the shots!

We also did an awesome session with these two at the Bountiful Temple yesterday along with David Perry! Definitely look for those shots on the blog sometime soon!
